Anil is a self-taught artist who developed a distinctive style that blends techniques using both brushes and palette knives. This approach allows him to evoke the ocean’s ever-changing moods at different times of the day, from serene mornings to vibrant twilight scenes. His lifelong connection to the ocean and his fascination with vibrant sunsets began in Mumbai, India, his birthplace. During his career as an engineer, he worked extensively with visual technologies, specializing in graphics, video, and imaging for cameras and televisions. Later in life, Anil rediscovered his passion for oil painting, channeling his creativity into capturing the vivid beauty of seascapes and sunsets on large canvases. Anil’s artwork has been exhibited in various venues, including galleries in Capitola and Carmel, California, as well as local art fairs and commercial spaces, earning him recognition for his ability to transport viewers to the tranquil beauty of coastal landscapes.
